by Robert Bays Ph. D. (Author)

Robert Bays, Ph.D., author; Lux Newman, editor. The intent of this book is to help the planet WAKE UP from the dream of separation, and discover Awareness Itself is always here NOW--the Essence that animates consciousness. Only three archetypal ego stories veil our ability to identify with this Essence. These stories are exposed and there is the possibility of transcendence.

Author Biography

Dr. Robert Bays has been a university professor, a drama critic, a professional actor on Broadway, a produced playwright and composer, a novelist, and a psychotherapist. For twenty five years, he has been in the personal development field as an international (5 continents) seminar leader, spiritual and motivational speaker, corporate consultant in HR, and psychotherapist. His first book, Once upon a Lover's Dream (Kendall/Hunt 1995) is a novel with therapeutic metaphors designed to heal the heart and mind, as well as opening the reader to the realm of spiritual Awakening. He brings almost five decades of spiritual seeking, and almost twenty years of "calling off the search" (H.W.L. Poonja) to these pages that reveal his most passionate spiritual advice: "Rejoice and Wake Up! You are already everything you seek!" His (known) spiritual teachers began with Jiddu Krishnamurti, followed by Ken Keyes, Jr., Swami Chidvilasanada (Gurumayi), Gangaji, his Enneagram teacher, Eli Jaxon-Bear, H.W.L. Poonja (Papaji), Eckhart Tolle, and Adyashanti. Dr. Bays has an extensive and practical background as a counselor and therapist using NLP, NAC, PNI (Psychoneuroimmunology), Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and The Enneagram of Self-Realization. He served as Head Trainer for Anthony Robbins for twelve years. He now works primarily with individuals that want to go "deeper" than emotional and behavioral issues to wake up out of the dream of suffering and heal the core spiritual knot that underlies that suffering. He lives blissfully in beautiful Sedona, Arizona, with his wife, Teri, who is a professional singer and Director of Music and Liturgy for the local Roman Catholic church.
